Backbreaker 2: Vengence

Everyone, I’m back! Guys, before I begin the review, I’ve noticed a lot of spam in the comments section. It’s strange. Anyway, to the review!

Backbreaker 2: Vengence is a fun little app, based on the Tackle Alley mini game in a console game named Backbreaker Football.

Backbreaker 2 is obviosly the sequel to Backbreaker, and the aim is to evade defenders, jump over barriers and truck below signs to get a touchdown. But there is a new mode that gives more variety to the game than the first, Vengence.

Vengence mode reverses the roles of the game, as you have to tackle down the opposition, while evading players stopping you from tackling down their teammate on his trip to the end zone, jumping over barriers and trucking below signs.

It all sounds a bit repeditive, but it is really addictive. For $1, it’s not bad.

Backbreaker 2 is a fun game, and is definatley worth a thought about getting. I give it 4.5 digital stars.

By the way, Backbreaker 2 is based on American Football.

Update: Heroes and Castles

Heroes and Castles is an incredibly fun Action-RPG, Strategy, Castle Defence game. You can choose out of three classes, or heroes. You then command a unit to defend your castle from hordes of evil skeleton warriors. The game is addictive and you can play it for hours! It’s only $2, so it’s pretty cheap. That’s it for now guys, and remember, keep tapping!

This Beat em’ up is based on the arcade game of the same name.

Ok guys, that’s it for now. Go out and buy Angry Birds Rio, because it’s only free for about a week or more. See you guys later!

The 2012 Bleepsandblops iOS Awards: The Winners!

Today, on such short notice, is the iOS awards. First off, I should say that The Respawnables has been entered into the most addictive game catergory. WIthout further interruption, the winner of the Best Game is……… FIFA 12. What a great sports game, and game in general. It can pose fun to both soccer fans and people who don’t like soccer. Congratulations FIFA 12, you deserve the award!

Now, for the opposite award. Worst Game. The Winner by far is Justice League, by far. A terrible beat em up game, it doesn’t live up to the Justice League. The less said about this game the better.

The Most Addictive game, which is a very good title to earn, goes to Jetpack Joyride. You can’t go wrong with this Aussie-developed free app. Good Job Halfbrick Studios, keep up the good work!

The Best Character Award goes to….. Homer Simpson from The Simpsons: Tapped Out. What do I say about Homer? This Award was made for him. He’s side splitting hillarious, and really cool. Nice Work, Homer!

The Winner of the Best graphics is……. Need For Speed: Most Wanted. Most Wanted looks slick, and the cars are amazingly awesome. The Game is good, too. Nice  Job, Most Wanted!

That’s all the winners of the delayed awards. Was I correct, was I wrong? Feel Free to comment if you think my choices were correct or wrong. That’s it for now, gamers. Keep tapping!

NBA2K13 iOS

The NBA is the most recognisable Basketball league in the world, so, 2K Sports have made a game based on the league. NBA 2K13 is another entry in the long running NBA 2K game series.

Basketball is one of my favourite sports, but I don’t really follow the NBA. I know some of the players, mainly LeBron James, Koby Bryant, Kevin Durant, Dwyane Wade, and that’s it, really!

The Game has a few modes to play with, like Practise, Multiseason, Quick Game and Greatest Games, which I will get into in a second.

Greatest Games includes the players Michael Jordan, Shaquille o’Neal, Dirk Nowvitzki, Allan Iverson and Koby Bryant (with more players coming soon). Each of the players have specific task for them to do in their best games. NBA fans will enjoy reliving some of the game’s best players past and present.

The Graphics of the players are good, but not the best. The Game is run on the NBA 2K engine.

The Game is simple to play, and the controls are easy. When in defense, there is a button to rebound, a button to switch characters and a button to steal and a joystick to run. In Offense, there is an option to pass, shoot or set up an alley-oop.

If there is one thing that is great about 2K13 is the dunks. You can slam them in and save a photo from the replay.

NBA 2K13 is a great basketball sim, and it is hard to falt. I give it 4.5 digital stars.

Bug Report: Wild Blood

Wild Blood by Gameloft is buggy! At the start, when you listen to the story and then it loads, it just crashes! This Sucks, as I really want to play the game. I played it on my iPod Touch 4th Gen iOS 4.3.5. So, just beware of that.

On a happier note, Christmas is near! Have a good Christmas everyone!

It feels cool to play and captures the NBA, but some of the graphics aren’t that good. Still cool to pick it up for $3.00, a bargan. Anyway, that’s it for now. If you like, you could look at some older posts as well. Bye!
